“We have solemnly renounced the world and therefore, whilst we continue in it, we should behave like strangers and pilgrims.”-St. Cyprian - This was my Night Prayer Meditation, and it fits in with tonight's Unpacking the Mass!
Let's not be a divided America but despite our political differences be proud to be an American in a diverse country with many freedoms including freedom of speech. There is no other country in the world I want to live in, but I want everyone to have a voice and have peace in their heart and not hate, and that includes myself. The world is filled with many races of God's creation. Murder is unacceptable and breaks the commandment, "Thou Shalt Not Kill".
Matthew 5:9 - "Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called the Sons of God."
Thich Nhat Hanh - Vietnamese Buddhist monk
"Peace starts in your own heart."
Marvin Gaye - "If you cannot find peace within yourself you will never find it anywhere else."
Mother Teresa - "Peace begins with a smile."
Mahatma Gandhi - "Peace is its own reward."
Albert Einstein - "Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding."
Jesus - "Peace be with you."
